A new semester at WVU means a new round of first-year freshmen. And for upperclassmen who travel between campuses that means it’s the most annoying time of the year to ride the PRT on Evansdale.

Like, why do the physically able freshmen living in Evansdale dorms take the PRT from Engineering to Towers? It holds up everyone else taking longer commutes and fills up the cars and the platform to a suffocating amount.

Why?

Do you really have to take a PRT over so short of a distance? Do these students hate exercising so much they want to avoid even walking in the general vicinity of the Rec Center?

When the “freshman 15” starts catching up to these students, those missed walks may look more appealing in hindsight.

So, please, take a walk.
