PRINT ADVERTISING
The Daily Athenaeum is printed every Wednesday during the Fall and Spring semesters, including a special edition each month.. Our on campus circulation is 2,700, delivered on campus and the Morgantown area at over 200 locations, and also inserted in The Dominion-Post for circulation in Monongalia and Preston counties, increasing our circulation to 12,700. We also produce special publications with specific topics that can better target your message with adjacent content- see our publication schedule for details and publication dates.

Full Page Ad
Full Page ads are 6 columns wide and 12.75" tall and take up an entire page.
Half Page Ad
Half Page ads are 6 columns wide and 6.295" tall and take up half a page.

Page 2 ads are 4 columns wide and 3.5" tall. They only appear on the bottom-left corner of Page 2.
Front Page Banner
Front Page Banner ads are 11.33" wide and 2" tall and appear across the botom of the front page.
Double Truck Ad
Double Truck ads are 20.66 inches wide and 12.75 inches tall. They take up two full pages.
Classifieds
Want to sell something? Want to advertise an available apartment? Looking for a tutor? Need a roommate? Classified ads are an inexpensive way to get your message to the WVU Community. Classified ads appear in each print edition, online on our Classifieds page and each week in our newsletter.
Line ads are 20 words or less and can be purchased for 1, 2, 3, 4 or more weeks at a time. We can also supercharge your classified ad as a boxed ad, add bolded text or increase the word count past 20 words.

Sponsored Content
Looking to tell your story or enhance the perception of your brand? Sponsored content, or native advertising, is content created for your brand, like an article about your business or tips article establishing you as an expert. Exmaples inclue an article about winter tires sponsored by a tire retailer, or an article about maximizing space in student housing sponsored by a student housing development.
Newsletter Advertising
The DA’s newsletter, the Weekly Athenaeum, is a weekly recap of the DA’s best news, sports, and information. This sponsorship is your highest chance to get the word out about your business or organization directly to the WVU community.
We have four options to choose from:
- Newsletter Main Sponsor- Your ad will appear at the top of the newsletter with a “brought to you by” message. This clickable ad can be customized with your branding and is sized 600x90 pixels.
- Mid-Newsletter Ad: Your ad will appear in the middle of the newsletter as a banner ad. This clickable ad can be customized with your branding and is sized 600x90 pixels.
- Bottom-Newsletter Ad: Your ad will appear at the bottom of the newsletter as a banner ad. This clickable ad can be customized with your branding and is sized 600x90 pixels.
- Client-Spotlight: You will receive a block in our newsletter, located 2/3 down the newsletter. This can include up to 2 images and no more than 600 characters.
These ads can be bought weekly, in bundles of 3 weeks, or an entire semester.
