Behing the first-ever complete game by Alek Manoah, the WVU baseball team cruised to a 2-0 upset win over the 15th-ranked Texas Tech Red Raiders.

Manoah dueled 15 strikeouts in the 31 batters he faced. He allowed only four hits and picked up his fifth win of the season.

Offensively, the Mountaineers (21-12, 5-5 Big 12) scored on an RBI single by Marques Inman in the first and an RBI single by Paul McIntosh in the third.

For the Red Raiders (22-10, 5-5), Gabe Holt had three hits.

WVU and Texas Tech will resume the series on Saturday starting at 4 p.m.
