The West Virginia Mountaineers' quarterback room is going to be a bit less cramped this week.

WVU head football coach Neal Brown announced on Tuesday that redshirt junior quarterback Jack Allison has made the decision to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal.

This season, Allison has completed 19-of-26 passing attempts, tallying 144 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.

Allison came to Morgantown in 2017 after transferring from the University of Miami in Florida. He served as the backup quarterback behind Will Grier in 2018 before competing for the starting quarterback role prior to this season.
