Texas (17-11, 7-8), on the other hand, featured a much stronger offensive outpoint. The Longhorns shot 52% from the field,
Sophomore guard Andrew Jones led the Longhorns in scoring, posting a season-high 22 points. He was followed up by fellow guard Courtney Ramey, who ended the night with 21 points.
The Mountaineers will return to action on Saturday when the Oklahoma Sooners come to Morgantown. Tipoff from the WVU Coliseum will come at 4 p.m., and will be broadcast on ESPN2.
