One member of the West Virginia men's basketball team has tested positive for COVID-19, the WVU athletic department announced Monday.

The name of the player has not been released. He will enter a self-isolation period for 14 days, according to the statement.

The team's voluntary workouts will begin on July 6.

The men's basketball team is not the only program at WVU to have student-athletes test positive as two members of the football team tested positive for the coronavirus earlier this month.
