Tuesday's men's soccer game between West Virginia and American has been cancelled, according to a release issued by the WVU athletic department on Monday afternoon.

The match, slated to begin at 2 p.m. in Washington D.C., was cancelled "due to unplayable field conditions and anticipated inclement weather in the area over the next 24 hours."

There are no current plans to make up the game.

West Virginia is scheduled to play again on Saturday as they travel to Bowling Green. The 5 p.m. kickoff from Cochrane Soccer Stadium will be broadcast on YouTube.
