Forwards Lamont West and Andrew Gordon have entered their names into the NCAA transfer portal, according to the following reports.

West was first reported by Jeff Goodman of Stadium, while Gordon was first reported by Chris Anderson of EerSports.

Following in the footsteps of James “Beetle” Bolden and Trey Doomes, West and Gordon would be the third and fourth players to transfer from the WVU men’s basketball program this season.

In his three seasons in Morgantown, West played in 109 games, averaging 8.7 points per game. Graduating this spring, West would be eligible to play immediately.

Gordon, a 6-foot-9 sophomore, came to WVU after transferring from Northwest Florida State College. In his lone season in the gold and blue, Gordon averaged 2.3 points and 1.7 rebounds per game in his 34 games played.

The Mountaineers now have four open scholarships remaining for next season.
